Ceramic jewelry can be fragile and breakable, but will last a long time if proper care is taken. Here are a few tips for cleaning and taking care of your special jewels.
+ Be careful when putting them on and taking them off. Try not to hit against or drop on a hard surface, such as tile, concrete, or wood.
+ Don't wear your jewelry when sleeping, showering, or swimming.
+ At home or when traveling, don't store with other pieces that may scratch the surface, especially the gold accents. The gold is a thin layer of real 22k gold and can get scratched, if not careful.
+ If the surface of the pieces get dirty, clean with mild soap and water. Don't scrub the gold areas too hard. The backs are unglazed ceramic, so makeup can rub off on them, but is easy to clean off. Use mild soap and water to gently scrub away the marks with a q-tip or soft bristled toothbrush. Always be gentle when cleaning and don't rub or scrub too hard!
+ The gold accents will show fingerprints and lose some shine. You can use a soft microfiber cloth to gently clean and polish those areas.
